My First Ever Food Review!!!! Godiva Ice Cream!!!!!

Yesterday, one of my friends came back from her vacation to Japan and brought back for me ice cream from Godiva!!!! Last summer, I ate a chocolate vanilla cone at a Godiva store in Japan, so I was really excited when she got me this. She got me two flavours, the hazelnut chocolate chip and the cacao vanilla. They both tasted like Heaven.

The hazelnut chocolate chip was my favourite one. Personally, I don’t enjoy chocolate that much because it hurts my stomach, but I didn’t experience any stomach aches with this ice cream. The chocolate tastes really fresh and the ice cream itself is really creamy. The hazelnuts were nothing like the icky nuts you find in normal ice cream. They were really crunchy to the point that I found myself finishing all the hazelnut even before I finished half of the ice cream.

The cacao vanilla was very delicious as well. It sort of has a peculiar taste, but I think it’s a must for people who love coffee, like me. The vanilla is creamy and doesn’t feel heavy at all. Do you know that dreamy taste of when you add a millions of layers of whipped cream on your coffee? It tastes just like that, but even more delicious.

I am really pleased with both of these ice creams. I am truly thankful for my friends who know my love of food ❤ .Godiva is officially my favourite ice cream brand now. What’s your favourite ice cream brand?

[Product Review] The LUSH Ocean Salt Exfoliator

Last year, for Christmas, I received the LUSH Ocean Salt Exofoliator as a present, but I never had the chance to use it. Since I had nothing to write a product review on for my blog this week, I tried the LUSH Ocean salt I received. Honestly, I don’t like exofilators because I get lazy easily and I hate waiting, but the LUSH ocean salt was worth the waiting. When you hear “salt”, then obviously, you would think “Wouldn’t it hurt if you apply it on your face?” The answer is “Nope.” As long as you mix the exfoliator evenly,it comes out really creamy and smooth. The exfoliator does smell like the ocean, but it didn’t bother me at all because the smell of lime was much more stronger.

Lately, my skin has been very dry because of the mango season but the ocean salt helped my skin become less rough. It’s much more effectible and healthier than those lotions and moisturizers out there. I recommend the exfoliator for those who have dry skin, especially for the winter. I don’t recommend this for people with oily skin because it may clog your pores. Overall, I really liked this product and if I had the chance to, I would purchase it again. 🙂

[Product Review] Benefit Cosmetics Lolli Tint

Yesterday, my uncle bought me the lolli tint from the Benefit Cosmetics Tint Collection as a Valentines Day present. I liked it so much that I decided to use the tint as my next product to write a review on. First of all, the container is really pretty. The design is simple, but it’s still cute enough to attract your eyes. Everything about the tint is similar to a nail polish bottle. If the bottle didn’t say “tint” on it, I’m pretty sure I would’ve accidentally used it as nail polish.The smell is obviously really sweet, but there’s nothing much that is special about the smell.

The lolli tint can be used both on your lips and cheeks, but I don’t recommend using it on your cheeks. Because it’s a tint, it stains easily and is really hard to apply. Many people think that applying tint to your dry cheeks work, but it’s actually the opposite. Since tint itself dries up really quickly, it does not serve as a moisturiser. It is true that the tint stains your skin which is why many people use applicators to apply tint. I personally don’t like using applicators because the tint dries up on the applicator and leaves barely anything to apply on to yourself. I mean, it’s not the applicator that needs the makeup, it’s us. So even if it stains your skin, I still recommend using your hands. Anyways, it comes off easily with a little bit of water or wipes.

My most favourite part of this tint is the colour. It’s not too solid nor is it too bland. I think that it’s the perfect colour for teenagers like me. I only apply one layer because if I apply more than one, it starts to look a bit clownish or should I say, funky. Honestly, I think that the opinions on this tint would be more diverse. Many people have mixed ideas on tint because of the hardness of applying it but if you’re obsessed with tint, then I strongly recommend the Benefit Cosmetics Lolli Tint. If I ever have a chance to, then I want to try the other tints from the Benefit Cosmetics Tint Collection.

[Product Review] Tony Moly Latte Art Milk Cacao Pore Pack

Last week, my friend bought me the Tony Moly Latte Art Milk Cacao Pore Pack ( I know, it’s a long name right?) at her trip to Guam. To thank her for the present, I decided to do a product review of the pack. First of all, the packaging and the container is so adorable. It was adorable to the point that I felt like it would be a waste to use it. The container looks like a coffee mug and it even has its own tiny spoon along with the mug. The pack has nine layers of cream.

The moment you open the container, you can smell the fragrance of coffee and the cream itself looks like chocolate pudding, which makes you want to eat it. The pack is made up of cacao and milk but I’m not sure if it’s edible so I strongly recommend not eating it. I also recommend keeping it away from children ( you never know what kids nowadays might do).

The packaging says to mix the layer of cream in a 1:1 ratio, but I recommend mixing only the first two layers if you don’t want the pack to look ugly from the outside. Use the pack after cleansing your face. Tip: Don’t use the pack if you have sensitive skin or get irritations easily because the pack may crack your skin. The packaging says to just apply the cream but I recommend mixing it with a little bit of water as you apply it to avoid dry skin. After 10~15 minutes, wash the cream off carefully with warm water. Make sure nothing is left behind on your skin because it may cause your skin to dry up.

Since Iv’e only used the pack for about 2 weeks now, I’m not sure if it’s improving my skin but I definitely do feel like my pores are getting tighter as I use it. The pack doesn’t remove blackheads or whiteheads but it does tighten your pores in order to avoid them.  If your looking for an enjoyable skincare product, then I recommend the Tony Moly Latte Art Milk Cacao Pore Pack.

Skinfood Black Pomegranate Mist VS Skinfood Ice Vita Mist

For about a month, I have been using the skin food pomegranate mist. Skinfood is a South Korean skincare and cosmetics store that’s popular internationally. Me and my friend have been talking about different kinds of skincare products which led me to this idea. I decided to compare and contrast the skin food pomegranate mist, the mist I am using and the Skinfood ice vita mist, the mist my friend is using.

The Skinfood pomegranate mist is a very refreshing mist, recommended for using after a shower. The design of the bottle is rather dull but its still nice compared to those other mist bottles sold in markets. The bottle and the spray nozzle feels more like a hair spray bottle. What I enjoyed the most about this mist was the smell. The smell isn’t strong like perfumes nor is it too weak. The mist has the most refreshing smell out of all mists I have ever used. If I were to compare the smell to something else, I would compare it to an air freshener. I recommend the pomegranate mist for both oil and dry skin. I recommend using the mist before sleeping or after taking a shower. .

The skin food ice vita mist is the perfect mist for those who live in hot areas. The design of the bottle is very bright and cute, perfect for teenagers who like pretty things. It has a floral smell with an organic feeling to it. The mist is perfect to carry around in order to prevent dry skin. The bottle recommends using the mist before or after applying makeup but it’s also nice to spray a couple times throughout the day. I strongly recommend this for people who live in hot climates and those whose skin gets dried easily.

If you want something  to cool yourself before sleep, I recommend the black pomegranate mist but if you want something  to apply throughout the day, I recommend the ice vita mist.
